Awards Night

Held approximately one week before the end of the school year, Awards Night gives Venice Lutheran School an opportunity to recognize students who have achieved excellence in different areas of their school life. We also take a moment to give thanks to parents, church members and school personnel for their contributions to our school. On Awards Night, the Kindergarten class officially graduates to first grade and each child is given a special plaque from their teacher.

The purpose of Awards Night is to:
• Instill within students a desire to learn and reward them for their achievement.
• Recognize outstanding academic achievement for students in
Grades 1 through 8.
• Encourage other students to apply themselves as best they can in hope of recognition.
