Field Trips

Venice Lutheran School takes classes on a variety of field trips throughout the year. Field trips are a part of the school’s educational program, and teachers coordinate field trips to support their classroom studies. The wide variety of cultural and educational attractions in the Los Angeles area provides unique opportunities to broaden the students’ learning experience – arts organizations, museums, cultural centers, local theatre companies, Los Angeles’ natural open spaces, community and social centers and historical sites. Trips are followed up in class with reflective discussions about what students experience and learn. (When needed, transportation and admission fees are collected from each student in advance.)

Past field trips include visits to:
• Bradford Stewart’s Art Studio
• California Science Center
• Local Farm
