Venice Lutheran School applies Christ-centered values and the Lutheran academic tradition to provide students with a well-rounded education building confidence and good judgment; developing critical thinking and leadership; and nurturing discipline and character so that each child may succeed as a responsible citizen making a difference in the world.
We are a small school that offers reduced class size, personalized attention, flexibility, and a secure setting. We keep tuition low in order to support families, while providing them an environment where they feel welcome and engaged. We work to be the best alternative to the larger, increasingly secular, and expensive schools that are so prevalent in our community.
Our K-8 program is led by a fully certified teaching staff, where a Master Degrees and/or educational certification is the norm, and ongoing development a must. We blend traditional, collaborative, and project-based methods to teach math, science, and language arts. We fortify that academic experience with inter-grade mentorships, independent study, music, art, and extracurricular activities in order to further develop leadership and personal growth.
Ultimately, our school is for families who seek purpose, meaning, and authenticity through values-based education. We reinforce that by promoting an active school community that supports families, students, teachers, and staff, as we work together to build young minds and spirits into successful members of society. We remain committed to the values and traditions that have allowed our school to stand the test of time as one of the oldest private scholastic institutions on the Westside.
