What We Offer
Venice Lutheran School offers families an exceptional Christian education in a safe and caring environment. We are an independent, co-educational school for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. In addition to high academic standards, we instill a sense of mutual respect and personal responsibility in our students. A strong home/school partnership is key, and our small school environment helps to foster this relationship.
Founded in 1948, Venice Lutheran School is the oldest parochial school in the Venice community. The strong preparation of Venice Lutheran School graduates is evident. “They are well-rounded, well-adjusted, and have great study habits,” says Emilie Gino, founder of Venice High Foreign Language Magnet. California-adopted content standards and curricula form the core of our language arts, math, social studies, and science programs. Spanish, religion, art, music, computer instruction, and physical education are equally important components of our school week. Extracurricular activities include school musicals, art/social studies/science/speech fairs, spelling bees, sports, band, and after-school enrichment classes.
We are a ministry of an LCMS congregation. For more information on our LCMS beliefs go to: http://www.lcms.org/belief-and-practice
